About Heartland Energy Development Corporation

The Heartland Energy Development Corp. (HEDC) has been a key privately held company in the domestic oil and gas development industry since it was established in 2006. Heartland Energy has worked tirelessly to push the envelope in terms of its oil and gas development technologies.

Heartland Energy specializes in seeking out and developing domestic natural resource fields and current holds interests in 100s of acres and approximately 10 wells in the Texas – Oklahoma region. Although the company started out with modest aims, it has grown over the years to tackle far more ambitious projects of resource development.

Firms like HEDC are important for the national economy, in that they employ or partner with key domestic knowledge workers, such as geophysicists, drillers, and logging specialists. Capabilities of such companies include fluid services, pipeline guidance, well intervention, cementing, and simulations.

Anyone who’s paid close attention to the global debate over the future of energy must concede that for the United States to remain competitive in the 21st century, its domestic companies must be allowed to develop new and innovative means of extracting resources safely from U.S. soil. Heartland Energy has been pursuing such a mission, and aims to remain a leader in using technology, experience, and good personnel to collect natural gas and oil efficiently.

The company is privately owned and controls numerous wells and other geological resources throughout the domestic United States. HEDC holds working interest positions, for instance, in the fields in Starr County and Jim Hogg County, Texas.
